If you are in the DC area looking for one-on-one tutoring, LOOK NO FURTHER! I offer tutoring at very reasonable rates, for all age groups, in the following subjects: Math, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, precalculus/trigonometry, and calculus; Physics; Statistics; Engineering courses, including statics, dynamics, and strength of material.
What makes me different from other tutors? In addition to being very accommodating, patient, and knowledgeable, I have the experience necessary to engrain the material in my students’ minds. Academically, my background consists of a BS in construction engineering and a MS in civil engineering both from Purdue University. You may be asking, “So, he knows the material, but can he explain it to me or my child?” During my undergraduate studies, I substitute taught children of all grade levels (K-12). During my graduate studies, I taught algebra to college students of all ages and tutored each of the previously mentioned courses one-on-one. My experience in teaching all age groups demonstrates my aptness and readiness to tutor anyone.
Please contact me either by phone at (317)-332-8230 or by email at nickopy23@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
