Hi there,
I'm a working professional who graduated from UC Berkeley in 2004 and UT Austin [graduate school] in 2006. I've been tutoring for several years now, and tutored a lot of kids as a teaching assistant at UT Austin. I cater to all ages and levels --- school, high school, and college courses. My specialty is college Calculus, but I enjoy teaching most of the other areas also. Currently, I tutor a few students 1-on-1 in Richardson and Dallas. I've been known to be very patient and understanding, yet someone who has brought out the best in my students, regardless of their starting point and abilities. After my first year as a graduate student at UT Austin, I won the Mathematics Department's solitary award for being the most outstanding graduate teaching assistant --- this was based on numerical and subjective reviews by both students and professors. I won the award out of a pool of some 150 teaching assistants. I charge $50 per hour to teach at the student's place, but this can be discussed if the location changes or based on the individual student's needs. Please contact me to discuss further. Thanks!
