Individual or group tutoring in math and/or statistics.

I have more than 30 years experience as a practicing electrical engineer and more than 18 years as an adjunct professor teaching engineering technology and mathematics in higher education. In addition, I have more than 10 years of experience tutoring middle and high school student in science and mathematics. I was an assigned to IBM’s prestigious Faculty Loan Program for one year in a public school in New York City working with grades 7 – 9 in the areas of science and mathematics.

The focus will be on discipline and concepts in learning math rather than a lot of memory. In addition, techniques on how to unlearn negative behaviors developed over time about math being a very difficult subject.
