Tutoring servcices at Yale area

Hello Everyone,

My name is Tim and I am a medical student at Yale University, New Haven. I have been tutoring and helping students since my high school senior year in California. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. Degree in Biomedical Engineering. I have had many achievements in academic and tutoring area, which are listed below.  I am people oriented and can work with students at different levels. I was captain of my high school varsity tennis team and have coached tennis at a local youth center. My areas of expertise are in Biology, Math, Physics, SAT, and AP classes. I will be doing research at Yale University this summer and would like to tutor high school students or college students during evenings and weekends. My tutoring rate is $35 dollars per hour. However, this rate may go up, if I need to commute to your location in New Haven area. I can teach group lesson for 2 to 4 students on the weekends. My group rate is $45 dollars per hour for first two students and 5 dollars per additional student up to four students. Achievements and experience:

·        Biomedical Engineering degree in the School of Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University, class of 2009. Completed all class work within 3.5 years and graduated on the Honor Roll and Dean's list

·        Johns Hopkins University undergraduate research fellowship award, summer of 2006

·        95 percentile or higher on SAT Math , SAT English , SAT-II Math, SAT-II Physics, SAT-II Chemistry

·        AP classes taken: Literature, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, US History, Statistics, Government, Spanish, and Calculus

·        Held many high school Biology, Physics, Math classes at Tutoring Center, Rosemead California

Tutoring subject areas:

Biology (High school and College level): problem solving and/or reviewing textbook materials

Physics (High school to College level): problem solving and/or reviewing textbook materials

Chemistry (High school): problem solving and/or reviewing textbook materials

Mathematics (High school to College level): General Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus 

Test Prep:  SAT, SAT II, and AP Classes

Rates

·         One-on-one: $35 dollars per hour at a local library or via Internet (skype)

·         Group:  45 dollars per hour for first 2 students and 5 dollars per hour for each additional student up to 4 students. Group lesson will be given at a local library
